Our board has the following members:


Chairman, Terry Pinnington
Mr. Pinnington has been on the board for over 25 years and has extensive contacts in the area. He is a local businessman.



Treasurer, John Bennett, a former mayor, a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a European Engineer.

Robb Lello, a Town and former County and District Councillor and boat builder. He is also a former town mayor.
    Robert Mims, a retired but still-practising architect. Bob is involved in numerous town organisations including U3A and the Model Railway Club. He is also a town councillor.

Mrs. Jayne Ninnes, a long-time Hayle resident, Hayle Mayor 2012-2014, Hayle Town Councillor and keen activist for town issues. She is a manager at Cornwall College.

She was town mayor for 2012/13.

    Raymond Wyse is a retired local businessman and engineer. Among other things, he maintains the historic clock in the tower at John Harvey House.
    Frank Goff, a restoration surveyor and former Managing Director of a well-known company involved with the restoration of a number of important London historic structures including the White Tower at HM Tower of London and Kensington Palace and with extensive experience in the repair and restoration of many historic buildings. He is a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. He has worked on a wide range of structures and is an acknowledged expert in restoration.

Anne-Marie Rance is a town councillor, Chair of Hayle in Bloom, trustee of Save Our Sands, treasurer of Friends of Hayle Town Youth Club and volunteer gardener - among many things.

She has lived in Hayle for 11 years.

    Nick Farrar has lived in Hayle all his life. He was educated at Humphry Davy Grammar School.
He runs his own property maintenance company covering all aspects of construction, specialising in carpentry.
Nick is a committee member of Hayle Decorative Lighting, he set up and administers the Hayleonline forum, and is proud to be a member of Hayle Town Council. In 2016 he was elected mayor.
    Louise Gratton has lived in Hayle all her life and for the past 18 years has been a partner in a local business, Central Garage, Hayle. She is also an active Trustee of Save our Sand where she has been involved in fund raising events which have been successful and enjoyable. She also has a passion for Hayle's heritage.
    Anne Hall lives in Hayle and works for Cornwall Foundation Trust as a Senior Manager and Lead Professional.


    Donna Anton is chair of the Hayle Film Club and was chair of the Cornwall Film Festival for three years and chair of the British Federation of Film Societies.
    Ian Lawrence Ian Lawrence joined the Police Force at the age of 25 and served in the CID and National Crime Squad. He provided training to police and Security Services and had postings to Afghanistan. He is a councillor on the Gwinear/Gwithian Parish Council and volunteers at the Hayle Day Care Centre.
